Job Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and revise real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, deeds, mortgages, and title documents. • Ensure all documents comply with applicable laws and regulations. • Identify and resolve title issues, including liens, encumbrances, and easements. • Perform due diligence for real estate transactions, including reviewing corporate documents, leases, and other property-related agreements. • Research and analyze property records, including zoning laws, environmental reports, and tax assessments.
Job Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification from an accredited institution preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law. Experience with horizontal and vertical real estate transactions is an advantage • Skills: ◦ Strong knowledge of real estate laws, terminology, and procedures. ◦ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. ◦ Proficient in legal research and document management software. ◦ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
