Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as first-line contact and respond calls and emails from employees seeking help with IT-related issues from the helpdesk system.
  • Assisting employees with hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems, and providing helpdesk services.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company’s desktop environment.
  • Consult with IT Analyst and Supervisor to make sure that network expansion projects are in line with the company’s plans
  • Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.
  • Maintaining existing applications, and managing software updates.
  • Always maintain a high level of courteous customer service.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, Information Technology.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk operations a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • At least 1 year experience in desktop support.
