Backhoe Operator
Department:
Engineering and Construction Management
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate the backhoe to excavate, load, and move materials
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment
- Follow safety procedures and ensure safe operation of the backhoe
- Read and interpret construction plans or instructions
- Assist in site preparation and trench digging, as required
- Ensure equipment is stored and maintained properly
Job Qualifications:
- High School graduate.
- At least 3 years of experience operating a backhoe or other similar equipment proficiently
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes.
